Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a subscription?

No. Perceived Loudness is a one-time purchase with a lifetime license. You pay once and own it forever, with free updates including bug fixes, OS compatibility patches, and minor improvements.

Which DAWs are supported?

The plug-in supports VST3 on Windows and VST3 + AU on macOS, compatible with major DAWs including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, and more.

What is the refund policy?

Perceived Loudness includes a 14-day free trial, so you can fully evaluate it before buying. You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase; once a license is activated the sale is final, except if the product is faulty or not as described. All payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.net). See our Refund Policy for details.

Are there any discounts?

We occasionally run a listening-test event that rewards participants with a discount code. There’s no active event right now — stay tuned for the next round.

Does it replace my existing metering plug-in?

Yes. Perceived Loudness includes all standard metering (VU, LUFS, True Peak, LRA) plus exclusive PLFS and PLD analysis. It covers everything a typical meter does and goes further.

What is PLFS?

PLFS (Perceptual Loudness Full Scale) is a perceptual loudness metric designed to better reflect how loud a mix actually feels to the human ear, going beyond traditional LUFS measurement.
