SAETEQ is a product by Vidya Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"). We develop audio measurement tools for music professionals. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

2. Data We Collect

We may collect the following information:

• Listening test responses: Your A/B choices during the Perceived Loudness listening test. These responses are anonymous unless you voluntarily provide your email address.
• Email address: Only if you choose to submit it after completing the listening test, for the purpose of receiving a discount code and occasional product updates.
• Purchase information: When you purchase our product, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store credit card details.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds under GDPR Article 6:

• Consent: When you voluntarily submit your email address and agree to receive communications.
• Legitimate interest: When we use anonymized listening test data to improve our algorithms.
• Contract: When processing data necessary to fulfill a purchase or provide product access.

4. How We Use Your Data

• Listening test data is used to improve the accuracy of our Perceived Loudness measurement algorithms.
• Email addresses are used to send discount codes and, if you opted in, occasional product updates.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.net), which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle collects payment details (credit card, billing address) directly and is an independent data controller for that information. We do not have access to your full payment details. 6. Data Retention

Listening test responses are stored in anonymized, aggregated form indefinitely for research purposes. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. International Data Transfers

SAETEQ is operated by Vidya Co., Ltd. in the Republic of Korea. Your data may be stored and processed in Korea and other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

8. Cookies

Our website does not use tracking cookies. We may use essential cookies for basic site functionality only.

9. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
